Friday Evening Walk Boulder Creek via Bobolink Trailhead

Started my daily walk a little late and was rewarded with a great sunset on one side and a full moon on the other. Again carrying the D700 with the 24-85VR. It wasn’t quite wide enough for some shots, but I needed the reach for others, so the 16-35VR probably wouldn’t have been exactly right either… I really love the shadowy light at dusk.

Saturday Morning on Pearl St. Mall in Boulder

It was a beautiful, chilly, day and everyone was out to play.   Shot with my Nikon D700 and the 24-85mm VR.  Liking it as a walk-around lens.  It’s fairly light and easy to carry.  Everyone was really nice and agreed to be photographed, except for the guy in purple bug-eye lenses.   Was pretty rude when asked and wanted money, so true to my nature, I took the picture anyway.   There was a great rastafarian guy with incredible dreds that was nice but didn’t want me to take his pic.   I obliged.   Nice is nice…
